Arthur has personally tried only a small portion of the products featured here. The archive should not be read as a collection of personal endorsements. Articles based on first-hand experience need to identify that experience explicitly.
Our editorial standards
Product introductions and hands-on reviews are different
Much of our archive was created with a tool that turns retailer product links into posts. These posts can include automated summaries, product images, and descriptions supplied by a brand or retailer. They are a starting point for discovery, not proof that we wore, washed, or independently tested the product.
Older headings such as “Our thoughts” should not be interpreted as a hands-on test. Brand claims about comfort, support, durability, or performance remain brand claims unless an article explicitly documents independent testing.
What a hands-on review should show
A hands-on review should identify the reviewer, the product and size tested, how it was used, and the experience after wear and care. It should explain drawbacks as well as strengths. We will not invent test results, ratings, or personal experience.
What we look for in a product introduction
Useful details include the cut, rise, fabric composition, size information, coverage, merchant, and practical buying considerations. Missing details should remain identified as unknown rather than being filled with an assumption. Our archive is being improved to make those distinctions clearer.
Prices, availability, and retailers
Archived prices can become outdated, and a dollar sign does not establish the currency. Always confirm the current price, currency, shipping, size chart, and return policy with the retailer. Underwear Thoughts does not sell, fulfill, or handle returns for the products featured here.
